Job Summary:

As a Sonographer Specialist, you will conduct abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging while providing sonography assistance for interventional procedures. This position necessitates independent decision-making and a comprehensive understanding of equipment and positioning to ensure exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers.

Job Description:
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Executing procedures according to physician directives and departmental protocols
  • Accurately identifying patients
  • Documenting all procedure details with precision
  • Ensuring a safe environment for patients during procedures
  • Performing procedures with high accuracy
  • Demonstrating expertise with diagnostic equipment
  • Maintaining current knowledge and skills in the field
  • Providing reliable clerical support
  • Ensuring proper transfer of images to the storage system
  • Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Offering assistance and support to colleagues
  • Carrying out other assigned responsibilities
Job Requirements:
  • Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Sonography
  • Certified Ultrasound Technologist from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Vascular Technologist from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (specific requirements based on location)
  • BLS Tier - Basic Life Support - Multisource certification
Physical Demands:
Medium Work: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally, Up to 25 lbs. frequently.
