Key Responsibilities- Perform Routine Maintenance
- Perform oil and filter service, tire rotations, and other light line service on automotive vehicles.
- Sell Additional Services
- Sell lubrication, safety inspection, and other related services to customers.
- Inspect and Maintain Vehicles
- Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
- Replace oil and air filters.
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace, or replenish as necessary.
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
- Communicate Effectively
- Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
- Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean and notify service advisor immediately of any changes.
- Education and Experience
- No prior experience or training required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
