Key Responsibilities:
- Review bid documents and engage in pre-bid discussions to thoroughly evaluate project requirements.
- Conduct accurate takeoffs and quantity assessments with meticulous attention to detail.
- Create detailed and structured project estimates.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, relevant codes, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE).
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
- Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical practices.
