Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift, providing excellent service to our guests while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
The Night Auditor will be responsible for:
- Verifying and balancing daily financial reports.
- Ensuring guest safety and security throughout the night.
- Managing reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations via various communication channels.
- Assessing guest needs to recommend suitable room types and rates.
- Documenting and accommodating special guest requests.
- Providing information regarding hotel amenities and room features.
- Utilizing effective sales techniques to enhance revenue opportunities.
- Following proper procedures for addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
- Adhering to quality assurance standards and expectations.
- Performing light physical tasks as required.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Experience in customer service roles, preferably in hospitality.
- A positive attitude and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently during night hours.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in computer applications.
