  • Mixologist: Cultivate a friendly ambiance for guests. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, along with food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space. Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while juggling multiple responsibilities and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with a friendly attitude.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons.
  • Craft cocktails by mixing various ingredients.
  • Set up promotional displays or arrange products to enhance sales.
  • Restock and replenish supplies on counters or tables.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product location, pricing, and usage.
  • Calculate total costs and taxes for customer purchases.
  • Process payments and provide change. Package items for customers.
  • Record cash amounts in the register at the end of the shift.
  • Determine sales discounts to finalize pricing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Monitor for safety or security concerns (e.g., trip hazards, lighting issues, suspicious behavior) and report to management.
  • Verify customer identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchases.
  • Prepare, serve, and deliver beverages to customers.
  • Understand and adhere to state liquor regulations and company policies regarding alcohol service.
  • Alert management of any intoxicated customers and refrain from serving them.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with proficiency in English.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and move quickly, especially during peak concession sales.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Accurate cash handling and mathematical abilities.
  • Completion of a Safe Beverage Service and Food Handlers training program, along with meeting the age requirement for alcohol service.
  • Previous experience as a bartender is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
Work Environment:

This role takes place in a movie theater and dining establishment, often in low-light conditions, with a dynamic flow of guests. The work pace is brisk, yet it is crucial to maintain a welcoming demeanor and a readiness to assist our guests. This position is physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting throughout the day. Candidates must be able to frequently lift and move items weighing at least 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, or current enrollment in an educational program.

Prior experience in retail, food service, or customer relations is preferred.
