Job Summary

The Assembler position is crucial in the aggregation of sheet metal control house buildings. This role involves assisting with layout, measuring, and marking dimensions and reference lines. The ideal candidate will be versatile, willing to learn various skills, and work independently with minimal supervision. We're looking for a team player who can help wherever needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assemble sheet metal control house buildings
  • Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines
  • Maintain yard in a clean organized fashion
  • Use relevant hand tools in various stages of assembly
  • Work through a different number of tasks in various stages and areas of production
  • Operate specialized equipment
  • Work safely every day wearing proper PPE
  • Other job-related responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing or assembly (preferred)
  • Welding and fabrication experience (desired)
  • Knowledge of proper use and care of hand and power tools
  • Experience driving a forklift (desired)
  • Ability to work from 10' ladders
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to ensure a safe workplace
  • Reliable attendance, respect, and responsibility at work
Skills and Abilities
  • Skilled at mathematics, such as reading tape measure
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Understanding of proper use, cleaning, and lubricating of machines and tools
  • Adhere to safely procedures to perform tasks in an efficient and productive manner
  • Skilled at managing time independently
  • Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Ability to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
