Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ambulatory Services Housekeeper to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our ambulatory healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disinfect and clean surfaces, equipment, and furniture to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste, and perform routine cleaning on waste containers.
  • Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other essential supplies to ensure a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
  • Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Previous healthcare or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Previous patient interaction experience required.
