Neurosurgery Specialist

Job Title: APP for Inpatient Neurosurgery Service at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled APP to join our inpatient neurosurgery service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the service, including daily rounds and progress notes, ER and inpatient consults, admissions and discharges, ordering and interpreting labs and radiologic studies, and fielding phone calls from bedside nurses.

Responsibilities:

* Participate in daily rounds and progress notes
* Provide ER and inpatient consults
* Assist with admissions and discharges
* Order and interpret labs and radiologic studies
* Field phone calls from bedside nurses
* Collaborate with neurosurgeons

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
* Board certified (ACNP or NCCPA certification)
* BLS
* Virginia License
* DEA
