About the Role
Prime Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Perioperative department. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting, working closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in the Perioperative department, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and planning patient care in the peri-operative setting
- Coordinating care with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient care
- Directing and guiding OR Technicians and other personnel to maintain high standards of patient care
- Participating in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings to ensure continuous quality improvement
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
