Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
- Order laboratory and radiology tests as needed and refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
- Analyze test results and medical records to diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens to treat identified medical conditions.
- Discuss potential side effects of medication with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up to date.
- Provide advice to patients on lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat their health issues.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, as well as ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
- Ensure medical records are legible and complete in a timely manner.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with all colleagues and employees.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in providing primary care to patients.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of California.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in family practice/general medicine.
- Current certification in BLS/CPR.
- Competitive hourly rate of $120-$150 per hour.
