About the Role

Saint Xavier University is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions in the Mathematics Department. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory and service courses in mathematics, including college algebra, trigonometry, finite mathematics, statistics, and elementary math education courses.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and course materials to promote student learning and success.
  • Hold regular office hours, provide support and guidance to students, and communicate effectively with colleagues and students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the assessment of general education mathematics courses.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Mathematics is required; a Ph.D. in mathematics is preferred.
  • Excellent teaching skills and a passion for mathematics education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
