Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled Electrical Line Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical transmission and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical transmission and distribution systems, including overhead and underground lines.
  • Operate line trucks, aerial boom, lifts, and wire pulling equipment to construct, repair, or maintain line equipment or string, splice, and sag wire on live or dead circuits.
  • Use switches, cutouts, and grounding devices to work on de-energized lines and equipment.
  • Train and direct the work of a trainee in the trade.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Journeyman Lineman certification, including completion of a formal training program.
  • Must meet examining board review of skills and experience and pass testing through Rocky Mountain Power.
  • Hot stick training and experience.
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
