Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at Jimmy John's Woodbury #516. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering sandwiches to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take phone orders and complete delivery orders in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Deliver orders to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner in established delivery area only.
  • Accept payment from customers for orders according to procedure.
  • Work with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales.
  • Make fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, restrooms, etc.
  • Greet customers, take orders, operate cash register, collect payment from customers, and make change.
  • Execute blow away greetings and farewells.
  • Fulfill other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and maintain a clean driving record.
  • No more than 2 minor violations in the past 3 years.
  • No major violations in the past 5 years.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly.
  • Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with a retail food company is a plus.
