• Lead and enhance the safety, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and morale of hourly work teams.
• Cultivate team leaders to align with corporate standards and innovate existing material delivery systems to boost productivity and minimize manufacturing expenses through the World Class Manufacturing methodology.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and foster a constructive relationship with both management and union-represented employees.
• Supervise multiple work teams in a dynamic, high-volume unionized manufacturing setting.
• Coordinate daily team operations to meet business objectives and implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) strategies related to material flow.
• Responsible for developing and managing high-performing work teams, including Team Leaders and Team Members, while adhering to Leadership Principles.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting equipment and machinery.
• Strong mathematical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Above-average proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• A dedicated team player with a robust work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry within a manufacturing context.
• Familiarity with logistics warehouse operations.
• Previous management experience is advantageous.
