Barista - Huntingdon College

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Huntingdon College. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving specialty drinks, assisting with food preparation, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Operate a register/POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs and providing a positive experience.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Count, organize, and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip, and make deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar, stations, or store, including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware, and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow required dress code and communicate in English.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.
