Lead Shipper Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Shipper to join our team at Bimbo Bakeries USA. As a key member of our shipping operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate loading and unloading of trailers, as well as maintaining the shipping yard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately load and unload trailers, verifying route loads and trailer reports
  • Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintaining accurate records and reporting overages and shortages
  • Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
  • Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • 1-3 years of shipping experience preferred
  • Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time
  • Comfortable in a warm working environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays
