Job Description

We focus on providing advisory, transactional, and litigation services to public agencies, agricultural entities, and tribal clients in the area of environmental and water law.

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in environmental and water law matters for public and private clients.
  • Advise public sector clients on compliance with relevant regulations, including the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and conflict-of-interest regulations.
  • Prepare pleadings and manage discovery processes in litigation and proceedings before state administrative agencies, such as the State Water Resources Control Board.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in environmental and/or water law.
  • Strong familiarity with public sector legal requirements and experience working with public agencies.
  • Proven expertise in legal research, analysis, and writing, with the ability to deliver precise and comprehensive work under time constraints.

Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for a self-starter with excellent follow-through and communication skills who can contribute to our thriving practice while working on meaningful and impactful legal matters.
