We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Physicist to join our Imaging department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and optimal use of imaging devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and tune clinical protocols to ensure compliance with national and state standards.
- Conduct acceptance tests and annual physics surveys on imaging devices.
- Oversee the quality assurance program and participate in ACR/ICA accreditations.
- Track radiation dose and maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Teach courses on imaging physics and safe use of imaging devices.
- Design radiation shielding for site planning.
- Participate in clinical imaging research projects.
Requirements:
- PhD in medical physics preferred.
- Certification by American Board of Radiology (ABR) with ABR and MQSA certifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in diagnostic imaging.
