We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Lowell General Hospital. As a PACU RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our surgical patients.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to surgical patients in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the operating surgeon and anesthesiologist to establish priorities of care for each patient.
- Maintain current knowledge in areas of the PACU and stay up-to-date on hospital policies and procedures.
- Recover post-endoscopy and post-interventional radiology patients who have received any type of anesthesia.
- RN license in Massachusetts required.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required.
- A strong critical care background is essential.
