We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center in Rome, NY. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing our residents with excellent meal service in a sanitary and safe manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and washing dishes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assemble and deliver trays according to prescribed diets and serve resident tray line and main dining room.
  • Take inventory and deliver prepared nourishments to nursing unit pantries at designated times for residents' use.
  • Handle food in a safe manner and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • Some high school education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a kitchen in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated.
