Facilities Porter Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality service to employees by maintaining a clean and safe facilities environment.
  • Perform outdoor cleaning tasks, including parking areas, courtyards, and green spaces.
  • Empty trash cans, dust and clean surfaces, and vacuum carpets.
  • Restock bathrooms, kitchens, and fridges, and clean coffee and water machines.
  • Clean and disinfect drinking fountains, and dog kennels.
  • Moves, arranges, and distributes furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed.
  • Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies.
  • Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and report maintenance issues.
Internal Events:
  • Set up and tear down conference rooms.
  • Pick up supplies for events.
  • Move catering leftovers to kitchen areas after events.
