Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a Full-Time MA Recruit Police Academy or equivalent training.
  • Eligibility for certification as a Full-Time Police Officer by the POST Peace Officer Standard Training Commission.
  • Possession of a Massachusetts Class A License to Carry.
  • Strong understanding of police practices and Massachusetts General Law.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in computer systems related to dispatch and records management.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
