Phlebotomist Technician

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at a top-tier healthcare organization based in the United States. This is a contract position with a possible extension opportunity, offering a great way to start working with a reputable medical facility.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. We offer a competitive pay range of $18 - 22 per hour, based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
• Properly explain the process of venipuncture and specimen collection to patients.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain their integrity during transport.
