Job Title: Wind Farm Technician II

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Farm Technician II to join our team at RWE Clean Energy, LLC. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind farms and related facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal performance of wind turbines and related equipment.
  • Conduct acceptance and performance tests on systems and equipment following planned maintenance or outages.
  • Assist with turbine maintenance, including services, major component work, and replacement.
  • Assist with Balance of Plant procedures, including substation and collection system maintenance.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and an associate degree in Sciences or a related field from an accredited school is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, and/or distribution.
  • Unrestricted driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to work safely in extreme environments (hot sun, cold, etc.).
  • Ability to walk, climb, and stand extensively during the workday.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the use of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
