Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as ABF Freight Driver Development Program participants. As a participant, you will undergo comprehensive training and development to become a Checker/Driver Combined Dock/P&D employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend an ABF Freight approved Driver Training School
  • Upon completion of the program, perform the functions of a Checker/Driver Combined Dock/P&D employee
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Class A CDL Permit required
  • Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
  • Good stable work record
  • Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment)
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
