Position SummaryThe Cannabis Horticulture Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the Cultivation Flowering Supervisors and Managers in managing cannabis plants effectively. Responsibilities include maintaining the flowering rooms and executing all harvest processes. Key tasks involve transplanting, pruning, defoliating, trellising, pest management, harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, and ensuring cleanliness of all tools and workspaces.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections for pests, diseases, and other undesirable conditions.
- Adhere to company protocols for plant care, including pruning, harvesting, and curing.
- Perform routine maintenance throughout the growth and harvesting phases.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with additional tasks as required to support team and departmental success.
- Keep accurate logs related to job functions.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (schedule may vary).
- Weekend work may be required.
- Hourly rate: $18, Non-Exempt.
- Bi-weekly payment schedule.
- Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment.
- Willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Adaptability to changing business needs.
- Team-oriented with a flexible and friendly demeanor.
- Strong focus on cleanliness and sanitation.
- Effective communication skills for reporting progress and observations.
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

- Preferred experience in horticulture or agriculture (1+ years).
- Preferred experience in production or manufacturing (1+ years).
- Familiarity with the cannabis industry is a plus.
- Basic math, organizational, and computer skills required.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must possess valid government-issued photo identification.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary identification as per state regulations.
