Role Overview

We are assembling a new team dedicated to enhancing our data-driven investment strategies. As a Quantitative Analyst focusing on Client Insights, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from a diverse range of data sources. Your responsibilities will encompass data management, analytical evaluation, interpretation, visualization, and effectively communicating your findings to both research teams and executive leadership. This position is vital as data insights are fundamental to our operations as a machine learning enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft narratives that translate portfolio risk and performance metrics into actionable insights for clients.
  • Design and execute models for analyzing risk, performance, and market data.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to present findings effectively.
  • Empower the organization to provide clearer performance insights to clients.
  • Develop and implement analytical pipelines that automate valuable analyses for ongoing monitoring.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in the industry, including internships, working with intricate datasets involving curation, querying, aggregation, exploratory analysis, and visualization.
  • Proficiency in applying statistical techniques to analyze data, identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, derive insights, and propose solutions.
  • Strong ability to communicate analytical results through narratives supported by data, charts, and graphs.
  • Capability to mathematically frame and address questions.
  • Skill in inferring forward-looking insights from retrospective analyses.
  • Fluency in managing, processing, and visualizing tabular data using SQL, Pandas, and R.
  • Basic software development knowledge and experience with bash, Linux/Unix, and git.
  • Adept at refining ambiguous requests into clear reports that demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, biostatistics, data science, computer science, or a related discipline).
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
  • Previous industry experience or demonstrated interest in finance, such as relevant academic projects, coursework in financial engineering, or internships.
  • Experience in a production-facing environment and familiarity with standard concepts and tools, such as CI/CD, git, and Airflow.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $190,000. Individual salaries are determined based on various factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. The base salary does not encompass other forms of total compensation, such as bonuses and additional benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
