Job Overview

Elyria Manufacturing Corporation seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to ensure smooth operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Lathes with live tooling and Vertical Mills with 4th & 5th Axes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines efficiently
  • Perform lathe operations with live tooling and sub-spindle
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Use precision instruments to measure and adjust machine settings
  • Identify and resolve machine-related problems
  • Meet high school diploma/GED requirements and pass a background check and drug screen
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform equipment upkeep and maintenance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED and ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Fluency in shop math and a minimum of one year of shop experience
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see, hear, speak, and use motor coordination
  • Ability to occasionally kneel, stoop, bend, grip, and climb flights of stairs
