Position Overview:
As a Remote Tax Supervisor, you will oversee the monthly accounting and tax functions while providing exceptional service to a portfolio of small business clients. You will regularly interact with clients to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting, fostering long-term relationships with both clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding personal service to a dedicated group of small business clients.
- Provide insightful analysis of clients' financial performance to help them thrive.
- Manage and supervise monthly accounting and tax processes.
- Lead client onboarding, monthly reconciliations, and tax planning efforts.
- Utilize various accounting software, including QuickBooks Online, to maintain accurate client accounts.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and support the growth of team members.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about supporting small businesses with experience in managing multiple client accounts.
- Friendly and confident with a positive demeanor.
- CPA or EA certification preferred, with a minimum of 3 years in public accounting and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in modern accounting software; QuickBooks Online certification is advantageous.
- Experience in preparing tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S) is essential.
