Job Summary

We are a busy veterinary clinic seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to animals under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in various veterinary procedures, including administering medications, conducting laboratory tests, and monitoring anesthesia.
  • Provide exceptional care and support to animals, including hospital patient care and knowledge of vaccination and prevention protocols.
  • Utilize your technical skills to assist in surgical procedures and provide guidance on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive healthcare measures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, pet owners, and the veterinary team to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring, dental cleaning, animal restraint, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, and radiology equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate medical records and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
