Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech
  • BLS certification
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required

As an MRI Tech, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. You must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
