Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Medicaid/Medicare programs and extensive knowledge of current federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Takes occasional temporary assignments as an interim Director of Nursing, providing relief during absences, vacations, and transitions.
  • Audits facility systems and evaluates them for survey readiness, compliance with Medicare requirements, and optimal quality of care for each resident.
  • Conducts rounds to evaluate care and offers suggestions or direction to staff to ensure optimal quality of care for each resident.
  • Maintains records and schedules of facility visits, including any recommendations, in an orderly manner that is readily accessible to other facility and corporate staff.
  • Serves as a support person for facility administrative staff and answers questions or solves problems as requested.
Requirements
  • Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in a Long Term Care environment
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Medicaid/Medicare programs and extensive knowledge of current federal and state regulations
