We are seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to join our Clinical Leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Medicaid/Medicare programs and extensive knowledge of current federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Takes occasional temporary assignments as an interim Director of Nursing, providing relief during absences, vacations, and transitions.
- Audits facility systems and evaluates them for survey readiness, compliance with Medicare requirements, and optimal quality of care for each resident.
- Conducts rounds to evaluate care and offers suggestions or direction to staff to ensure optimal quality of care for each resident.
- Maintains records and schedules of facility visits, including any recommendations, in an orderly manner that is readily accessible to other facility and corporate staff.
- Serves as a support person for facility administrative staff and answers questions or solves problems as requested.
- Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a Long Term Care environment
- A comprehensive understanding of the Medicaid/Medicare programs and extensive knowledge of current federal and state regulations
