Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team of fire protection professionals. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in various commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and test fire alarm equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Interact with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders in a professional and respectful manner.
- Work in a variety of business and institutional settings, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and government facilities.
Requirements
- Work experience, training, or education in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of alarm systems and detection systems.
- State of Texas issued Fire Alarm License (FAL) or willingness to obtain any applicable state licenses.
- Current Driver's License.
- Ability to satisfy Government, Federal, and Customs background check requirements.
- Punctual, organized, self-starter, good communicator, strong work ethic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
