As a dedicated member of our Emergency Department team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our emergency services. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, prioritizing their physical and psychosocial needs.
- Collaborate with ED physicians to coordinate care planning and communicate changes in patient status.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities, including patient care assignments, staff direction, and quality improvement initiatives.
- BSN from an accredited nursing program (preferred).
- At least 18 months of acute/critical care experience (preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
- Current Certification as indicated by the Steward Certification Grid.
