- Utilization Review
- Conduct thorough reviews of patient records to ensure medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization, implementing strategies to reduce unnecessary utilization.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to providers, patients, and families.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, providers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings, contributing to collaborative decision-making and problem-solving.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes.
- Prepare and submit reports on patient care, utilization, and other relevant metrics.

- Education
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing or related field.
- Licenses and Certifications
- Current RN licensure in single state.
- Preferred: RN licensure in multiple states, BLS certification.
