This LPN staff position is a key role within our healthcare organization, ProMedica. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients, as well as supervising nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met.
- Within scope of practice, coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice, physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- 2-3 years of clinical experience, with a focus on gerontological nursing and dementia care.
- Valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
- Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
