Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Mammography Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Middlebury, Vermont.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammography procedures in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients in a timely manner.
  • Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation, including requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • BSN from an accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Tech (Certified Mammography Tech).
