Job Title: Surgical Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technician to join our team at Integrated Resources, Inc. (IRI). As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory, providing exceptional support to our research and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Oversee the daily operations of the lab, resource allocation, inventory and maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of lab supplies, reagents, and consumables; coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all lab activities comply with safety regulations and protocols; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Lab Restoration: Restore the lab to its original state after demos, training sessions, or client visits immediately escalate to the team if the lab is not properly reset.
  • Documentation: Assist in maintaining detailed records of lab activities, equipment logs, and project data.
  • Logistical Coordination: For R&D lab activity Coordinate the setup and teardown of experiments, manage sample storage, and assist with the transportation of samples and equipment as needed.
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for customers and external partners visiting the lab; assist in coordinating lab tours, demonstrations, and customer visits.
  • Support R&D Activities: Provide hands-on support for research projects, including preparation of materials, basic experimental procedures, and data collection under the guidance of the Lab Manager and research staff.

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree, or 4-year degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a coordination or support role.
  • A Tech familiar with multiple Endo/Uro technologies.
  • A Tech that has previous Physician interaction skills.
  • A Tech that has calibration testing experience, and inventory experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with laboratory management software.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on client service and relationship management

Preferred:

  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Surgical Technician experience is preferred, a plus
