Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Examine arbor and overarm configurations to ensure adherence to production directives.
  2. Verify coil identity against production requirements and load coils accordingly.
  3. Assess and document gauge, width, hardness, camber, burr, and surface quality, ensuring compliance with production standards.
  4. Establish gauge monitoring systems (if applicable) and confirm gauge calibration.
  5. Operate coils at optimal speed, ensuring both efficiency and precision.
  6. Monitor strip conditions to guarantee alignment with production specifications.
  7. Record strip conditions and gauge data as necessary, ensuring adherence to customer requirements.
  8. Band and label finished products in accordance with production standards and complete all necessary documentation.
  9. Regularly remove scrap from the machine and empty hoppers as required.
  10. Report any production or quality issues to the supervisor or shift lead.
