Imaging Expertise

As a CT Technologist at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your expertise in computed tomography imaging will help diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform high-quality CT scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary
* Screen patients for any contrast allergies and properly identify patients prior to performing exams
* Educate patients concerning exams and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed during the process
* Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards and utilizing approved PPE and disinfectant agents

Requirements

* Associates degree or Technical degree in a related field
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
* Computed Tomography A.R.R.T. (CT) certification if required by facility
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
