Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operator to join our team at our Keene Full-Service Terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our facility, including truck unloading, oil emulsion and water & vac trucks, oil treating, and waste processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water & vac trucks, and oil treating with the treater, cooler or tank treating.
  • Participating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker & centrifuge operations, and solids treating.
  • Responsible for the receipt, terminal storage, and transportation of crude oil, adhering to Measurement & Crude Oil Quality compliance.
  • Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing, and pump maintenance.
  • Conducting treatment of solids on the waste pad and boiler operations, testing, and steam system operations.
  • Ensuring all corporate compliance programs are adhered to and submitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office.
  • Participating in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) and waste plant operation, ensuring solids processing meets or exceeds landfill criteria and solids testing.
  • Following water injection SOP's and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity.
  • General maintenance, ensuring the plant is kept clean and safe.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years operational experience in waste processing and oil treating or water injection.
  • Midstream terminal operations experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Specialty training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge, and loader is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strong methods regarding all processes in the plant, including safety operations, oil treating & blending, waste processing, and water disposal.
  • Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS, and TDG.
  • A strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment.
  • Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross-shift communication, and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders.
  • Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices.
  • A valid and acceptable Driver's license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing.
