Role: Home Visitor

Program: South Shore Healthy Families Programs

Work Schedule: Full-time (flexible hours necessary)

Compensation: $27.10 per hour along with benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver home visiting and parental education services to qualified adolescent parents
  • Engage in group support initiatives
  • Act as a role model, providing support and motivation to parents and their families
  • Monitor, document, and maintain participant records as required
  • Participate in all site evaluations
  • Conduct community outreach to enhance families' access to available services
  • Distribute materials emphasizing the significance of early prenatal care and parenting education
  • Partake in on-the-job training related to infant care, nutrition, parenting techniques, childbirth education, and child development
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director/Supervisor

Essential Qualifications:

A high school diploma with three to five years of experience in early childhood education, or a bachelor's degree in social work, early childhood education, human services, or a related field with one to three years of early childhood experience. Travel is required. Familiarity with community resources is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. A flexible schedule is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese is preferred.
