Job Overview

i9 Sports - Manatee & Sarasota, FL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Volleyball Coach to lead our youth sports programs. As a Volleyball Coach, you will be responsible for providing expert instruction and guidance to athletes, promoting a positive and fun sports culture, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Practice Sessions: Develop and implement engaging practice sessions that focus on fundamental skills, skill development, and fun.
  • Teach and Demonstrate: Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values, to athletes and parents.
  • Communicate with Parents and Athletes: Communicate game day information to players and parents using established platforms.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and colleagues.
  • Sport-Specific Coaching Experience: Have sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge to provide expert instruction.
  • Highly Motivated and Self-Starter: Be a highly motivated and self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Be available to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the duration of the season.
