About the Role

As a key member of our Wireless Hardware team at Apple, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation NFC solutions for our products. Your expertise in RF hardware design will help us create innovative wireless systems that connect our customers to their world like never before.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop NFC hardware solutions for our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NFC hardware with other system components, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet Apple's quality and performance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in NFC and wireless systems, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and solutions.
Requirements
  • BS, MS (or significant equivalent experience), and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in RF hardware design.
  • Strong understanding of NFC systems, including NFC theory of operation, NFC circuit design, and NFC antenna design considerations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Experience with modeling tools like SPICE and soldering skills.
