Key Responsibilities
  • Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care, including activities of daily living, personal care, and emotional support.
  • Provide general nursing care, such as positioning patients, lifting, turning, and applying special equipment.
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake and output measurements.
  • Prepare patient rooms and beds for admission and transfers, ensuring all necessary equipment is in place.
  • Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, handling and caring for patient belongings and personal property.
  • Respond to patient call lights, telephone, and paging system, and provide timely assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum six months' experience in acute or long-term care facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
