Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School-Based Therapist to join our team at Ponessa Behavioral Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health services to students in a school setting, working collaboratively with school personnel to support the overall mental health goals of the school.

Responsibilities
  • Provide traditional outpatient mental health therapy in the school setting
  • Work with consumers who have a variety of emotional and behavioral needs
  • Conduct Intakes/assessments for new consumers and provide ongoing individual and family therapy sessions
  • Create and maintain comprehensive Treatment Plans to ensure consumer care
  • Work collaboratively with school personnel while maintaining confidentiality
  • Maintain both clinical and administrative components of consumers' electronic health records
  • Participate in group supervision, clinical training, and other required meetings
Requirements
  • Master's Level: Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a Human Services field
  • Bachelor's Level: Graduate student currently enrolled in a generally recognized clinical discipline with a clinical practicum
  • PA Licensed: LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Working knowledge of DSM-V and ability to formulate a diagnosis
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet paperwork deadlines consistently
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000-$55,000 for PA licensed therapists and $45,000 for non-licensed therapists. Part-time hourly rates range from $18.00-$50.00 per hour for PA licensed therapists and $18.00-$40.00 per hour for non-licensed therapists. We also offer a range of benefits, including medical and prescription drug coverage, dental and vision coverage, critical illness, disability, cancer, life insurance, and ABLEPAY.
