About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at All Roads Company in Colfax, NC.

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Vermeer machinery and components in a safe and timely manner.

You will work under direct supervision and have the opportunity to advance your career within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, with expertise in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems.
  • Recognize and suggest appropriate repairs to the service manager.
  • Be an experienced welder and familiar with industry trends and technical advancements.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs performed.
  • Create estimates for repair costs and communicate with the factory for technical assistance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems.
  • Experience as a welder.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
