Diesel Tech Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Tech Mechanic to join our team at Diesel Direct. As a Diesel Tech Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose diesel engine problems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and equipment
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks
Requirements:
  • CDL and hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
  • Ability to weld equipment as needed
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions
Benefits:
  • Hourly pay $25-$35 based on experience
  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week
  • Overtime pay at time and a half
