Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist at Beebe Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and theory, anatomy, and pathology processes utilizing the most appropriate technique and/or positioning for optimal examinations.
Adhere to department policies and protocols ensuring all examinations are optimized for interpretation.
Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
Explain procedures to patients and answer questions to ease anxiety and assure patient cooperation.

Requirements

Recent hospital experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
Basic computer skills and ability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekend duties when required.
Possess clear communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to keep confidential information regarding patients and team members.
Hold a current Delaware State Radiation license and Basic Life Saving certification.
Associate's degree in a related field is required.
