Job Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Security Officer to join our team at the Stockton Arena. As an Event Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and vendors while on premise. This includes patrolling the venue during events, enforcing security and safety rules, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce building security and safety rules, including wanding, visual searches, and/or pat downs of guests.
  • Stand guard during events and tour post periodically to ensure the safety of guests, staff, vendors, etc.
  • Provide event security in front of house (stage) as well as back of house.
  • Handle disturbances or problems that arise during events, including escorting disruptive individuals off the premises.
  • Write incident reports and meet with security supervisor to review procedures.
  • Assist with crowd control inside and outside of the venue.
  • Act in a professional manner with guests, staff, clients, vendors, etc.
  • Maintain a clean, neat appearance at all times.

A valid guard card and California driver's license are required. Employment based solely on experience, aptitude, abilities, and training. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. There are no computer skills required for this position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility, stand for long hours during events, talk, and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events. Must have the ability to stand or walk for several continuous hours. Applicant should be strong to assist in lifting patrons over barricades or from the floor.

Compensation

The salary range is $16.00 per hour.
